Wedding Trends for 2020

We just returned from the National Bridal Market in Chicago, and have all kinds of new ideas and inspirations to incorporate into the Bridal Extravaganza this year!

"Vintage" and "Rustic" are words we continue to hear couples use to describe their style, but we are also seeing a return to the "classic" wedding.. Gowns feature dramatic laces, soft tulle, long sleeves and interesting back details. Cathedral veils are stunning for a formal wedding.  Charcoal gray, burgundy and navy slim-fit tuxedos compliment jewel toned bridesmaid dresses. We're  seeing an emphasis on rich colors, with shades of plum and mahogany being paired with classic navy, teal and forest green.
Navy and burgundy seem to be the most popular pairing for 2020, but all shades of purples and greens are making a comeback! Gold is the chosen metallic accent, used in jewelry, headpieces, bridal belts and reception decor. Unique cakes, custom invitations, large hand-tied bouquets and outdoor reception venues with vintage decor are popular..

Couples are eager to put their special stamp on their wedding, and websites such as The Knot, Wedding Wire and Pinterest are full of ideas! We highly recommend you check out these sites to see how your business can provide new and exciting options for couples!

What wedding trends are you seeing for 2020? We'd love to hear from you!
